1966 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350H Finds Barn

There are plenty of epic barn finds we can see all the time, but it is in particular caught our eye. The real 1966 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350H "Rent-a-Racer" fastback was found at readers at BarnFinds.com.

This particular car seems to have seen a bit, but if in good condition Hertz Mustang costs about 143,000 dollars, according Hagerty. It's rare cars, and somewhere around 1,000 built, and who knows how many are still there. The Ford has just over a couple of years, but the original GT350H is what we all yearn. The Shelby-built 289 cubic-inch V8 made 306 horsepower and 329 pound legs rotation back in 1966. It was some rocking numbers in this era.

Some of the parts are missing, damaged or just a simple mistake on this example, so there's a lot to be done. The owner seems to have flew into many years ago, then took partway through fixing it until he sat down to neglect who knows how long. Nevertheless, we surmise someone will happily restore now, or enjoy themselves a piece of history, or sell a nice little profit. It's hard not to like black and gold color scheme with these classic Mustangs. The Ford GT350H does not have a similar type of car, but with the 2019 Shelby GT-H car with 480 horsepower. You can get it the same black and gold color scheme as it is the original Hertz car, too.
