Earlier this year a report was published that Porsche was working on an ultra-high performance variant of the Cayenne Coupe, possibly with the same GT # naming scheme used on most 911s. One spy photographer managed to take Cain's photos, which seemed to fit the description. Giving it is exhausting.
As you can see in the photos, this Cayenne Coupe, even though it looks like a regular model in all respects, has more central mounted exhaust tips. They are well hidden in the crossword diffuser panel, especially with false tips on both sides, but in the most snowy photos, you can clearly see the melted snow in the middle. Recently our photographer also took an example of an orange and came close to showing a compact center carton. The reason is that no other Cayenne trim is available with center exhaust design, not even optional. So it has to be a unique model. The orange model also has an acid green turbo badge, indicating that it has a lot of electrified power under the hat.
In fact, given that this upcoming Cayenne will be the most powerful version yet, it should have more than 670 horsepower in the current Turbo S E-Hybrid. Like other GT # models in the Porsche lineup, it is lighter and should be better at corners. Also, even though we don't know what numbers will be added to this Cayenne GT, one possibility is the GT5, a trademark name a few years ago.
We will be very curious as to how this situation develops and whether any of its components in other VW Group products are completed. Cough Lamborghini Urus cough.
